My writing has gone into a hiatus for the last two months, as I’ve been balancing three things lately: this new Youtube channel with the children’s book that will release soon, and my professional organizing business.

The children’s book will release on May 30th and is just cutest thing, so I’ll be talking about that soon! But for now, have you ever heard of the 30 day minimalism game? It is a challenge that was created by The Minimalists, and it is one of my favorite decluttering games. It is awesome!

To play, you find a friend or friend(s), and you each declutter one thing on day one, two things on day two, three things on day three, and so on… until day thirty. If you declutter the amount of items every single day, according to what day it is, you will have decluttered 465 items at the very end. The power of compounding!

The items don’t have to be big- they can be a receipt or a paperclip. I think this is a great time to tackle papers 🙌 I did this challenge, but did it backwards, starting on day thirty, and working my way backwards towards Day One!

On some days it was difficult, and I was really curious about what other people were decluttering. There were some great videos on Youtube that served as inspiration and kept me going. So I filmed my own too! Here it is below, if you would like to see:
